The Wine Advocate Review, June 2017
"Coming mostly from the Klipsun Vineyard on Red Mountain, with a splash of Cabernet Franc from Bacchus Vineyard )(This is Columbia Valley), the 2015 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon offers classic Cabernet notes of leafy herbs, black currants, graphite and cedary spice. With full-bodied richness, a voluptuous, rounded, sexy texture, no hard edges and a killer finish. It's only seriously good barrel samples that's going to drink nicely for two decades or more."

97% Klipsun Cabernet Sauvignon
3% Bacchus Cabernet Franc
Aged 21 months in 87% new French oak
Tasting note—Evocative nose with crème de cassis, Damson plum, violet, crushed rock, dried roses, and espresso. The palate has a silky, creamy texture featuring dark red fruits, bittersweet chocolate, and graphite. Power and elegance harmonize on the palate and through the finish. This wine stays refined even as it is large scaled and built for the long term. A two to three year wait is great for a start, but this wine will last 15-20 years easily.
