Tasting notes: Our first Chardonnay under the Passing Time label comes from the incredible 2018 vintage. This wine opens with great stone fruit, pear, brioche, and vanilla notes. It is very rich and concentrated on the palate, with deep flavors of pear, apple, lemon custard, toasted pie crust, and vanilla honey. A bright acidity brings balance to the wine, and the finish goes on forever. An auspicious start to the newest member of the Passing Time lineup. Drink now, or in the next decade-plus.
Blend: 100% Chardonnay

91-93 Points - Jeb Dunnuck Coming from the Conner Lee Vineyard and brought up in 50% new oak, the 2018 Chardonnay is a beauty, offering classic stone fruits and white flower notes as well as subtle oak, bright acidity, and a great finish. It's certainly going to be an outstanding wine. (April 15, 2020)
